WEEKEND BACKPACK PROGRAM

Many children who face poverty and hunger at home do not have access to nutritious food when school is not in session. For some, school meals are the only meals that they will receive in a given day.

In an effort to ensure that all children have access to food during the weekend the Blaine Food Bank is proud to partner with Wild Bird Charity and the Blaine School District to provide the food for three meals a day, as well as snacks, each weekend for children in our community who face hunger.
